Cystic Adventitial Disease

The gallbladder is a pear-shaped organ small non-vital body which helps in the digestive process and products are concentrated bile in the liver. The gallbladder is connected to the liver with the hepatic duct. The size of the gall bladder is about three to four inches long and an inch wide. The total diameter of the gallbladder is four inches when fully stretched.

In fact, the gallbladder is a hollow organ and sits in the concavity of the liver that is also known as gallbladder fossa. The gallbladder is divided into three sections of the neck, body and fundus. Neck plugs into the biliary tree through the cystic duct, which then joins the common bile duct into the common bile duct.

The functionality of the gallbladder:

The main function of the gallbladder is to store and concentrate bile. Stores about 50 ml of bile. Bile is a digestive fluid and is continuously secreted by the liver. The bile is more concentrated after being stored in the gallbladder and then when was a lever. Most of the digestion occurs in the duodenum. The bile emulsifies the fat that neutralizes acids in partly digested food. A valve muscle in the common bile duct is opened and the flow of bile from the gallbladder into the cystic duct along the common bile duct and the duodenum, part the small intestine.

Most vertebrates have the gallbladder, while the invertebrates. This is because vertebrates eat blouses, and invertebrates are constantly eating. To digest a large portion of food requires a lot of digestive secretions, thus resulting in the presence of a gallbladder.

The shape of the gallbladder is a pear, but the organ's function and shape vary considerably among mammals and species. In fact, in some species, the gallbladder is not present.

Different layers of the gallbladder:

- Gallbladder bile has a simple columnar epithelium lining characterized by recesses recesses also called as Aschoff that are packaged in bags inside the liner.
- There is a connective tissue layer beneath the epithelium.
- Under these connective tissues, there is a wall of smooth muscle that contracts in response to cholecystokinin, a peptide hormone secreted by the duodenum.
- No separation of the submucosal tissue of the adventitia and serosa, but there is a thin layer of muscle tissue to prevent infection.

Gallbladder Disease:

Sometimes the cases contained in bile crystallize in the gallbladder and forms stones of the gallbladder. These small, hard concretions are more common in people with age over 40, especially women and people who are obese. These stones create inflammation of the gallbladder that causes symptoms similar to indigestion after a fatty meal. If the stone lodges in the bile duct creates a lot of pain in a body. It is possible that gallstones may pass out of the body at once, but in a case of severe obstruction, the stone is removed by surgery.
