Using a Foaming Soap Dispenser Instead of a Bar Soap in the Bathroom Saves You Time and Money

No bathroom is complete without a soap. Until a few years ago bar soaps were the only thing people knew as to washing their hands with water. Lately though many other types of soaps have been introduced along with their particular dispensers. For example you now have the liquid soap with the liquid soap dispenser and also the foam soap with its trusted foam soap dispenser.

It is interesting to note that people started to use more these modern soap types instead of the old bar soaps and with good reason. The bar soaps are quite messy when left on the sink edge. Many times they leave an ugly residue that it's quite difficult to clean. Mostly once the soap started to melt, it only leaves a mess on anything is placed. Liquid or foam soaps, on the other hand, are different. They come in their own dispensers and are extremely easy to clean and to refill.

The foaming soap dispenser is a great way to wash your hands the easiest and cleanest way possible. Not only that, but by using it, your bathroom will look much neater as well.

The main difference between a liquid and a foaming soap dispenser is that the content is in another form. The foam is created by using a bit of liquid soap and water and mixing it up. It is actually more economical to use the foaming dispenser because you need less of it than when using the liquid variety. Basically the way it works is that when you press the button on the dispenser for the soap to come out, it will also inject air into the liquid thus creating the foam. Basically the soap is already in the foam state when it gets in your hands, so you will actually use less water and of course, less time to wash your hands. Although you might think that this saves only a bit of time and water, think again. How often are you washing your hands on a daily basis?

You can find the foaming soap dispenser in many models, colors and materials, including plastic, metal, ceramic and glass. Many people prefer having the see-through glass dispensers due to the fact that they can actually see when the container needs to be refilled again. Also in a way it's nicer and sleeker somehow. The cheapest type is the plastic variety, and many restaurants and other public places use it. They also like to use the wall mounted soap dispenser. Homeowners though prefer the stainless steel, ceramic or glass instead. The price different is not that great and the quality is much better as well.

Description

This econometric study covers the latent demand outlook for hand-portable foam, halogenated agent, and pressurized water fire extinguishers across the prefectures and cities of Japan. Latent demand (in millions of U.S. dollars), or potential industry earnings (P.I.E.) estimates are given across some 1,000 cities in Japan. For each city in question, the percent share the city is of it's prefecture and of Japan is reported. These comparative benchmarks allow the reader to quickly gauge a city vis-a-vis others. This statistical approach can prove very useful to distribution and/or sales force strategies. Using econometric models which project fundamental economic dynamics within each prefecture and city, latent demand estimates are created for hand-portable foam, halogenated agent, and pressurized water fire extinguishers. This report does not discuss the specific players in the market serving the latent demand, nor specific details at the product level. The study also does not consider short-term cyclicalities that might affect realized sales. The study, therefore, is strategic in nature, taking an aggregate and long-run view, irrespective of the players or products involved. This study does not report actual sales data (which are simply unavailable, in a comparable or consistent manner in virtually all of the cities in Japan). This study gives, however, my estimates for the latent demand, or the P.I.E., for hand-portable foam, halogenated agent, and pressurized water fire extinguishers in Japan. It also shows how the P.I.E. is divided and concentrated across the cities and regional markets of Japan. For each prefecture, I also show my estimates of how the P.I.E. grows over time. In order to make these estimates, a multi-stage methodology was employed that is often taught in courses on strategic planning at graduate schools of business.

Description

This report was created for global strategic planners who cannot be content with traditional methods of segmenting world markets. With the advent of a "borderless world", cities become a more important criteria in prioritizing markets, as opposed to regions, continents, or countries. This report covers the top 2000 cities in over 200 countries. It does so by reporting the estimated market size (in terms of latent demand) for each major city of the world. It then ranks these cities and reports them in terms of their size as a percent of the country where they are located, their geographic region (e.g. Africa, Asia, Europe, Middle East, North America, Latin America), and the total world market. In performing various economic analyses for its clients, I have been occasionally asked to investigate the market potential for various products and services across cities. The purpose of the studies is to understand the density of demand within a country and the extent to which a city might be used as a point of distribution within its region. From an economic perspective, however, a city does not represent a population within rigid geographical boundaries. To an economist or strategic planner, a city represents an area of dominant influence over markets in adjacent areas. This influence varies from one industry to another, but also from one period of time to another. In what follows, I summarize the economic potential for the world's major cities for "hand-portable foam, halogenated agent, and pressurized water fire extinguishers" for the year 2009. The goal of this report is to report my findings on the real economic potential, or what an economist calls the latent demand, represented by a city when defined as an area of dominant influence. The reader needs to realize that latent demand may or may not represent real sales.

This econometric study covers the latent demand outlook for hand-portable foam, halogenated agent, and pressurized water fire extinguishers across the states, union territories and cities of India. Latent demand (in millions of U.S. dollars), or potential industry earnings (P.I.E.) estimates are given across over 3,400 cities in India. For each city in question, the percent share the city is of it's state or union territory and of India as a whole is reported. These comparative benchmarks allow the reader to quickly gauge a city vis-a-vis others. This statistical approach can prove very useful to distribution and/or sales force strategies. Description

This econometric study covers the latent demand outlook for hand-portable foam, halogenated agent, and pressurized water fire extinguishers across the regions of Greater China, including provinces, autonomous regions (Guangxi, Nei Mongol, Ningxia, Xinjiang, Xizang - Tibet), municipalities (Beijing, Chongqing, Shanghai, and Tianjin), special administrative regions (Hong Kong and Macau), and Taiwan (all hereafter referred to as "regions"). Latent demand (in millions of U.S. dollars), or potential industry earnings (P.I.E.) estimates are given across some 1,100 cities in Greater China. For each major city in question, the percent share the city is of the region and of Greater China is reported. Each major city is defined as an area of "economic population", as opposed to the demographic population within a legal geographic boundary. For many cities, the economic population is much larger that the population within the city limits; this is especially true for the cities of the Western regions. For the coastal regions, cities which are close to other major cities or which represent, by themselves, a high percent of the regional population, actual city-level population is closer to the economic population (e.g. in Beijing). Based on this "economic" definition of population, comparative benchmarks allow the reader to quickly gauge a city's marketing and distribution value vis-a-vis others. This report does not discuss the specific players in the market serving the latent demand, nor specific details at the product level. The study also does not consider short-term cyclicalities that might affect realized sales.
