Make Your Presence Felt With High Heels

There would be hardly any woman who would rule out the importance of high heels in her wardrobe. For all those women who don't know the difference between a platform and wedges, this article might be very useful. Heels are the shoes which make your heel look taller than your toe. Thus a common convention is that these heels make you look taller but at the same time they can be highly uncomfortable for your feet.

Nonetheless, women have been wearing heels and shall continue to do so for times to come because heels are something which can never go out of fashion. An interesting fact to know about heels is that their invention was not done to add a feather in the cap of fashion conscious people but it was done to save the feet from the filth and the dirt.

For instance, in the ancient Egypt many years ago, butchers used to wear heels in order to lift their feet above the ground from the blood on the floor. Similarly, these heels were also worn by people to save their feet from urine and faeces which used to be littered on the roads.

One of the types of heels is the platform heels. Now again we come to the question, what is the difference between platform and wedges? Well platform heels are the ones which have a thick sole. As a result they are highly comfortable as compared to the usual heels and holds the feet properly which makes it comfortable for the women to walk in them. Now, the wedges are the ones which do not have stiletto heels at all. Platform heels can have stiletto heels and they are the type of shoes where the toe balances with the heels but in wedges there are absolutely no stiletto heels.

Now if class is what you aspire to have then you must have a nice and sexy pair of black high heels. Black pumps will never let you down and you can be sure to make a style statement with the black pumps any time with any sexy .Black is the ultimate colour for any kind of footwear and they go well with your skinny jeans as well as with your dresses, short or long. Thus, purchase your pair of heels and walk in style.
