Iliac Artery
Iliac Artery

What is the path of blood throughout the body?
I need to include the veins and arteries in the body, as the left internal iliac artery etc. Say "body" is not enough. From Leg left to the lungs and then the lungs to the right leg. This is what I have so far, so correct errors and add all the details if you please! (Left hind leg) the common iliac vein to the inferior vena cava to the right atrium to right ventricle tricuspid valve to pulmonary valve to the pulmonary artery to the lungs to the pulmonary vein to left atrium to the mitral valve with the left ventricle to the aortic valve to the aortic arch dorsal aorta to the common law right iliac artery external iliac artery (right leg)

Excerpt: In human anatomy, the perineum is generally defined as the surface region in both males and females between the pubic symphysis and the coccyx. The perineum is the region of the body inferior to the pelvic diaphragm and between the legs. It is a diamond-shaped area on the inferior surface of the trunk which includes the anus and, in females, the vagina. Its definition varies: it can refer to only the superficial structures in this region, or it can be used to include both superficial and deep structures. It is an erogenous zone for both males and females. Perineal tears and episiotomy often occur in childbirth with first time deliveries, but the risk of these injuries can be reduced by preparing the perineum, e.g. through massage. The perineum corresponds to the outlet of the pelvis. The anogenital distance is a measure of the distance between the anus and the base of the penis. Studies show that the human perineum is twice as long in males as in females. Measuring the anogenital distance in neonatal humans has been suggested as a noninvasive method to determine male feminisation and thereby predict neonatal and adult reproductive disorders. Its deep boundaries are as follows: In Alfred Kinsey's 1967 report, he concluded that the perineum was one of the 6 key erogenous zones for males. A line drawn transversely across in front of the ischial tuberosities divides the space into two triangles: Photograph of the male genital area, highlighting the perineum Photograph of female anus and perineum, highlighting the perineum and predominant raphe perinealis The terminology of the perineal fascia c...More: http://booksllc.net/?id=83916 |

![]() Ovary: Ovum, Vertebrate, Reproductive System, Homology (Biology), Testicle, Gonad, Endocrine gland, External Iliac Artery, Ovarian Fossa, Urete, Internal Iliac Artery List Price: See Reviews For This Product DescriptionHigh Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! The ovary is an ovum-producing reproductive organ, often found in pairs as part of the vertebrate female reproductive system. Ovaries in females are homologous to testes in males, in that they are both gonads and endocrine glands. Ovaries are oval shaped and, in the human, measure approximately 3 cm x 1.5 cm x 1.5 cm (about the size of a Greek olive). The ovary (for a given side) is located in the lateral wall of the pelvis in a region called the ovarian fossa. The fossa usually lies beneath the external iliac artery and in front of the ureter and the internal iliac artery. |
