This is a continuation of "3 techniques to help you learn to play lead guitar: Part 1 'and if you're reading this, you must have learned something in the previous lesson.

Well enough talking and let's dive into three techniques which can help them learn to play guitar or improve the style of play.

Technique 1: Hammer-ons

A hammer is a useful technique to hit a high note in quick succession. Along with a which I shall remove later, they produce something called trills. A hammer, no matter how difficult it may seem, is actually quite easy to do. Let start with the index finger in the 3 rd string 5 th fret. After starting the note, use your ring finger to the force 'hit' the 7 th fret. There has you a 'hammer'. Vibration caused by the plucking of the 5 th fret is sufficient to sustain the note at the 7th fret after the hammer.

Technique 2: Pull offs

A serving is the opposite of a hammer. The hammer is used to produce a higher note
while the pull is used to obtain a lower note. How to Throw? First, put your finger on the fifth fret third string and fret your finger on the 7 º. Take note, the two fingers should be in the same chain. Then take the note at the 7th fret and then forces the use of the ring finger to lower the string until the note on the fifth fret sound. When you are doing the service, be sure to remove your finger down and away from the chain to avoid hitting the other strings.

Technical 3: Palm muting

When you are doing a palm mute, the most important thing you need to focus on his placement is playing hand. The right hand should be right on the edge of the bridge, a slight pressure on the strings. Too far forward and you get no sound. Too far back and not receive the palm of silence. Essentially, it takes some practice to know exactly where the right hand has to be so you can get the crisp sound right. Indeed, palm muting is done by placing your right hand lightly on the edge of the bridge and playing a chord, most often a chord power.
