Tips for kids shoes Shopping

Parents everywhere know the drill - run to the nearest shoe store to equip their children in the last pair of shoes for school, play or both. But before parents invest in a new pair of shoes for children, some foot factors should be considered.

A child's feet change as they age. It may be necessary to change shoe sizes and sock every few months as their feet grow.

The shoes do not fit properly can aggravate foot. Always measure a child's feet before buying shoes.

Never hand over his shoes. The fact that a number of shoe comfortably fits a child does not mean it will fit another in the same way. Not to mention the practice of sharing shoes can spread fungi such as athlete's foot and nail fungus.

Watch for signs of irritation. If your child always wants to remove one or both of their shoes, this may be a tacit signal that the shoes do not fit properly.

Examine the heels. When children are slow growing, they can use through the heels of her shoes beating much faster than the shoes themselves. Uneven wear of the heel can indicate a foot problem that must be checked by a podiatrist.

The American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) recommends five tips for buying shoes for Kids:

1. Take your children's shoe shop. It is important that the child's feet measured before buying your shoes. Every shoe fits differently. Letting a child have a say in the shoe buying process promotes healthy habits of the feet on the road.

2. for later in the day. Shop feet tend to swell during the day, which is best placed at the same time they are swollen.

3. Buy shoes that do not need a "theft" period, the shoes should be comfortable immediately.

4. Always buy for the foot larger. The feet are seldom precisely the same size.

5. Have your child try on shoes with socks or stockings, if this is how it will be used.

Make your child's shoes make the grade?

Take the '1, 2.3 'from test:

1. Find a rigid heel - Press on both sides of the heel.

No must collapse.

2. Check the flexibility of the toe-The shoe should bend with the fingers of his son. It should not be too rigid or bend too much in the area of the toe box.
